On their fourth studio album "Schatten aus der Alexander Welt", Bethlehem may sound more melodic than ever before, but the godfathers of Suicidal Black Metal do not shed off their characteristic morbidity. "Schatten ..." is a conceptual work in nine eruptions of musical madness, framed by an audio play that creates an indescribable, disturbing, almost Kafka-esque atmosphere.
